StudioWorks - Features - Auto-Configure Headed Lists

StudioWorks includes an “auto-configure” headed list subwindow. You simply pass the SQL class name (schema or query class) to the window and StudioWorks sets the headed list properties. The column headings use the 'abbreviation' meta-data text.

You specify which columns you want to include in headed lists in the meta-data editor. You can also specify the column width, alignment, and even a calculation.

The auto-configure headed lists also support multi-sorting. Clicking on any column heading sorts the list on that column. Ctrl/Cmd clicking on a 2nd and 3rd column heading subsorts the list on those additional columns. Clicking twice on the same column heading toggles between ascending and descending. A text string with icons at the footer of the headed list lets the user see the current headed list sorting, number of lines in the list, and the number of lines selected.

When the user closes the window, StudioWorks stores the current sorting and column widths. The next time the user opens the window, StudioWorks restores the list to that user’s last sort and column widths.
