The Vision
Our vision is to build an international community of Omnis developers who work together, freely sharing knowledge, code, and modules. Working together on the StudioWorks framework, members increase their productivity through reduced duplication of efforts, greater code reuse, and a broader base of end user environments.
Part of a Team
A growing benefit of StudioWorks is the community of developers which you will be working with. StudioWorks developers communicate with each other through the StudioWorks mailing list. The community supports each other, gives input to new features and enhancements, and shares code. You can work together with other developers on the StudioWorks framework developing and testing common objects which can be shared. Why reinvent the wheel yourself?
Whether you are a larger company with a team of developers, or a one-man shop, being part of the StudioWorks community gives you access to additional developers who can get up to speed quickly, because you are both working with a common framework. This is also a benefit to your customers since other StudioWorks developers can support your product in the event of a short- or long-term disability.
